BATH, Ohio — School may be out for summer, but the learning doesn’t have to stop. Located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley, Hale Farm & Village provides an educational and fun experience for visitors of all ages.

Throughout the 1800’s generations of the Hale family. they worked and managed the Hale Farm & Village property in Summit County. Today, it serves as a living history museum.

“Hale Farm & Village strives to preserve the history of the Western Reserve or northeast Ohio,” said Hale Farm Director Travis Henline. “This is not a history book; it is an immersive experience.”

Thirty-two historic structures are on the property. Visitors can also watch trade demonstrations and learn about the animals in the farm’s breeding program. Costumed interpreters roam the property to speak with guests and provide insight on what life was like in the 19th century.

Hale Farm & Village will hold their opening weekend celebration on June 4 and 5. The celebration will feature special programming and live performances.
