OHIO — Massillon won its season opener for the first time since 2019, knocking off the nation’s all-time winningest program. The Tigers trailed 14-0 in the first quarter, but roared back for an impressive 28-17 victory over Valdosta, Georgia.
Next week, Massillon (1-0) hosts GlenOak at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium.
