MEDINA, Ohio — Two Medina High School student athletes were honored as Scholar Athletes of the Week in the northeast region for Week 1.
Daniel Toth is a football player and also participates in track and field for the Battling Bees.
Toth was described as “the definition of scholar-athlete” by striving to do his best on the football field and track, while working even harder in the classroom. He carries a 4.49 grade-point average while taking multiple honors courses and displaying leadership in the classroom and on the field.
Eve Chester is a tennis player at Medina High School.
Chester was described as “a great leader” for the girls’ tennis team. Along with the other captains, she helps build team chemistry and a positive culture for the program.
Chester plays second singles and was also described as “a perfect example of a great student-athlete representing Medina on and off the court.”
Congratulations to both students on their achievements.
