Widespread rain continues through the state Thursday morning. Roads will be wet. Give yourself extra time for your morning commute.
Behind the rain is cooler air. Temperatures fall throughout the day Thursday with afternoon temperatures only in the 40s with a blustery NW wind. It will feel chilly!
Some of the state dries out by later this afternoon as the front exits, but then our focus shifts toward NE Ohio with lake effect.
Look for lake-effect rain/snow overnight to kick in and continue Friday. Some areas in the snow belt could see some heavy snow bands early Friday so travel will be impacted. Snowfall totals could push over 2-4 inches.
