A mobile version of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel is currently on display at The Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek.

The renowned ceiling frescoes from the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have been reproduced in canvas format so viewers can get just a few feet away from the iconic masterpieces.

There are 30 reproductions in total, including The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgement.

Organizers said the format allows the public to truly experience the frescoes without the long lines and having to rush — like in Rome.

They also ask patrons to bring a smartphone for an enhanced experience.

“Part of this exhibit that makes it so special is we have an audio guide. You can either do it on your iPhone or your android or you can get it theatre style. And you can go up to the fresco and you point it at it and then it gives you an audio translation of everything that is in that picture, who the subjects are and why they were selected,” said Sylvia Noland, the Business Development Manager at SEE Global Entertainment.

The global exhibit will be on display at The Mall at Fairfield Commons until Feb. 13.
