LIMA, Ohio — Authorities searched Tuesday for two men who escaped from an Ohio prison, including one who is serving a sentence for murder.

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation said Bradley Gillespie, 50, and James Lee, 47, were reported missing from the Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima.

Gillespie, 50, is 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes. The sheriff’s office said he’s a convicted murderer.

The other is James Lee, 47, who is 5-foot-11, 280 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. He was convicted of burglary, breaking and entering, as well as safecracking.

No other details were disclosed, including how they were escaped or when they were discovered missing.

Officials urged not to approach the individuals if they are seen and to immediately call 911, as they are “armed and dangerous,” according to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
