Ohio State, Michigan compete in annual Blood Battle before big game

For more than 40 years, Ohio State and Michigan have battled over blood, but it’s not quite as gruesome as you think.

Each school competes on who can get the most blood donations to help save lives. The annual “Blood Battle” is held each year before the Buckeyes and the Wolverines battle on the football field.

Right now, the Buckeyes are losing, but Mindy Drayer talks with OSU student Kylie Kirkpatrick who thinks the Bucks will pull off the win in the end. Kylie also shares a very personal story about her father.
