A 55-year-old man has been arrested for two counts of gross sexual imposition after Columbus police say he inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl on a COTA bus.
The incident happened at the corner of East Broad Street and North Gould Road on January 25.
The bus operator had a passenger called 911. When the police arrive, they say Stephen Howitz initially resisted arrest.
He was issued a summons but was taken into custody Wednesday morning.
He is expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
