COLUMBUS, Ohio — Paint and Sip classes are a big hit but most are held in a studio. Now Pour on the Art is bringing the class to you.
The Columbus-based business is managed by Columbus artist Jenna Poore. From bachelorette parties in the woods to downtown birthday parties, Poore packs all the materials for a fun art class on the go.
“We go wherever people want us to go,” said Poore. “Since we are a small business, we are able to accommodate each individual person’s party needs.”
Pour on the Art was started with the artist in mind and the belief that with the right instruction, anyone can become an artist and have fun. Besides private parties, Pour on the Art also holds public classes at Zaftig Brew Pub on select Sundays.
“It’s super fun to be able to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new,” said Madison Miller, who attended a recent class. “I work a corporate job and tend to do the same thing every day, so it is really therapeutic to have a creative outlet.”
