After a tumultuous start to the weekend with severe weather, the week ahead starts off with quieter weather and plenty of sunshine.

What You Need To Know

  • Expect sunny and quiet weather Monday and Tuesday
  • 50s and even 60s by mid-week
  • Rain returns late Wednesday into Thursday
  • Cooler air filters in by Friday into next weekend

With high pressure moving in, we’ll see bright skies to start the week off, with seasonable temperatures. With clear skies at night, expect the lows statewide to drop below freezing and well into the 20s.

We’ll quickly see a ridge building by Tuesday, which will switch our winds back over to the south and southwest. This will help to significantly warm us up into the 50s, and even 60s by Wednesday and Thursday.

While the beginning of the week is dry, our next front arrives Wednesday into Thursday, increasing the cloudcover and chance for rain.

The good news is that severe weather with this next front is unlikely. That said, we’re of course keeping our eyes on any rain or even stray storms that may develop.

Expect a cooler and drier end to the week with highs back into the 40s.
