Warm, humid and stormy weather will start the new workweek and the first full day of summer.

What You Need To Know

  • Chance for severe storms late Sunday night in northwest Ohio
  • Severe threat moves east Monday afternoon and evening
  • Dry and cool on Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s

After a warm and muggy Father’s Day, we will see a stormy start to the week on Monday.

A strong cold front will be coming in on Monday afternoon. Ahead of it, strong to severe storms will fire up first in northwest Ohio late Sunday night.

The threat for severe weather will expand south and east on Monday afternoon and evening. Heavy rainfall will be possible as well.

There could be a few lingering showers pre-dawn on Tuesday but some nice sunshine is on the way with much cooler air.

Highs on Tuesday will feel more like September in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

We get to hang on to the quiet skies through Thursday.

Friday will be warmer with more scattered showers and storms.
