Good morning! Monday is starting off mild and a bit muggier, with increasing southerly winds. While a few sprinkles and showers cannot be ruled out today, the bigger threat for storms comes this evening and tonight, as an approaching cold front moves across the state.
Highs today will be in the low and middle 80s.
By the evening commute, storms will develop, with heavy rain, gusty winds and even an isolated tornado threat. The warm, humid air in place will coincide with the front, sparking off that severe storm chance. A slight risk exists for central and southern Ohio, while a marginal risk for severe weather is there for the northern part of the state, including the lakeshore.
