OHIO — Scattered showers and storms will impact much of Ohio through this afternoon.
Several rounds of storms will move through Ohio today, starting with the first round very early this morning into SW Ohio.
Much of Ohio south of I-70 is under a Marginal Risk for severe weather, with a few storms producing damaging straight-line winds. This first round moves through around 3 a.m., then expect another round of storms to fire up in central/southern Ohio later this morning. After another batch of afternoon storms, things quiet down for the evening.
With the increased rain chances, temperatures will be cooler, with some areas seeing highs only reaching the upper 70s today.
A few showers will again be possible Monday, then we’re looking drier and bringing back the heat toward the middle of the week.
