Rain is changing over into snow and before sunrise, we’ll see all precipitation as snow, which continues to come down through the morning before becoming more patchy this afternoon.
Most areas won’t see more than 1-2″, with the majority of the state seeing less than an inch of wet snow, but for the primary Snowbelt, we could be looking at spots getting 4+” now through Sunday as the Lake Effect machine ramps up.
Temperatures remain cold through the weekend and into the work week before warmer air filters back into the forecast by mid-week, with highs back in the 60s to near 70.
