A system from the north dives into the Ohio Valley brings snow chances through Friday, followed by a mostly dry weekend.


What You Need To Know

  • Last weekend of January feels like it with below average temperatures
  • Coldest wind chills of the season expected Saturday morning as temperatures drop and winds pick up
  • Friday brings snow chances, but after that, most of the weekend looks dry

Watch for scattered snow showers from Friday morning through most of the day. Roads may be impacted and slick, but this will not be a major snow event for us.

Accumulations range from a dusting up to a few inches in some spots by Friday night.

Snow moves out by Saturday morning and the artic air returns heading into the weekend.

We’ll wake up to dangerously cold wind chills again for Saturday morning. Wind chills could be as low as -15 degrees!

Saturday is the coldest day out of the weekend, but temperatures begin to rebound Sunday.

Most of the weekend looks dry. Looking ahead into February, temperatures begin to warm up! Highs through next week reach the 30s and 40s.
