Severe thunderstorms in eastern Ohio produced damaged buildings and trees on Thursday. A few tornadoes likely caused some of the damage.
The National Weather Service offices in Cleveland and Pittsburgh will start surveying the damage areas on Friday. It may take a couple of days to finish and get complete details.

Reports from Wickliffe, the Hudson/Aurora area and North Canton/Jackson Township are expected. A survey crew may also investigate damage near Mount Pleasant in Jefferson County.
