Air Quality Alerts will remain in effect through Saturday for all major cities: Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland metros, as well as Dayton. This means the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups, and precautions may need to be taken late in the afternoon and evening Saturday.
A weak cold front will be crossing the state Saturday and may generate a few isolated showers or storms. But the coverage will be limited and most will stay dry.
Temperatures will start cool in northeast Ohio into the upper 70s, but the rest of Ohio will be quite warm with highs in the middle to upper 80s. A few spots in southern Ohio may top out again around 90 degrees.
Temperatures should cool some statewide on Sunday.
