UK indie vets The Monochrome Set have been together for more than 40 years and are still releasing charming, erudite pop, most recently with 2019’s Fabula Mendax which you can stream below. Meanwhile, their two classic 1980 albums, Love Zombies and Strange Boutique, are getting official 40th anniversary vinyl represses on April 3 via Tapete. You can stream those below as well.
The band will be headed back to North America later this year, for East Coast dates in May and West Coast shows this fall. The NYC show happens May 9 at Mercury Lounge and tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
