TAMPA, Fla. — Many Taylor Swift fans on social media reported issues securing tickets on Ticketmaster Tuesday during presale for her “Eras” 2023 tour.

“We are aware fans may be experiencing intermittent issues with the site and are urgently working to resolve,” Ticketmaster Fan Support tweeted that morning.

Ticketmaster later on tweeted the following statement, saying that there has been “historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix presale,” adding that the Capital One sale was being rescheduled to Wednesday at 2 p.m. local venue time.

Swift described the “Eras” tour as “a journey through the musical eras” of her career in an Instagram post when it was first announced.

Swift has become the first artist in history to claim the top 10 slots of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with tracks from her new album, “Midnights.” Billboard reported that Swift surpassed Drake, who had held the previous record with nine of the top 10 songs for a week in September 2021.

Registration for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan! ended Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Verified Fan presale started Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. EST. General sale starts Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. EST.
