Statewide scattered snow showers will shift to lake-effect snow overnight through early Tuesday in northern Ohio.

While totals are expected to be light, there could be brief bursts of snow which would lead to reduced visibility and quick accumulations on grassy and elevated surfaces.

Accumulations will range from a dusting up to an inch in central and southern Ohio. Many areas in northern Ohio could pick up 1 to 2 inches, with upwards of 6 inches possible in the Snowbelt east of Cleveland.

Tuesday will be quite chilly with highs only in the 30s and a breezy northwest wind keeping wind chills in the teens and 20s.
