Monday started off beautifully, although a bit windy, with highs well into the 50s and 60s across the state. Increasing clouds overnight and a few showers will make Tuesday a wetter and more active weather day.
With strong south winds, lows will be at the coolest, in the 40s to near 50 north; 50s across central and southern Ohio. Light rain Tuesday morning will move in, increasing in both intensity and coverage area Tuesday afternoon.
In fact, we could see soaking rain statewide into the day, with 1 to 2 inches likely before the rain tapers off Wednesday morning.
