Tropical Storm Cindy formed late in the central Atlantic on June 22, becoming our third named storm of the season.
Cindy will move west-northwest toward the Lesser Antilles over the next couple of days.
Winds are currently at 50 mph, and we’ll see some strengthening as we head into the weekend.
There are no watches or warnings in effect.
It should move just east of the Lesser Antilles before approaching the Bahamas then dissipating.
We’re also watching Tropical Storm Bret in the Caribbean Sea. For a look at the 2023 Atlantic season so far, click here.
