Jamie Keaton found their voice through poetry, after years of discrimination. Writing and speaking their truth has brought strength and confidence to be themselves in the world.
“All the anger, all the pain, all the injustice I feel, I’m able to put that in a way that these are my authentic thoughts and I’m going to say them and I’m not going to care how others are going to feel about it,” they said.
