Southerly winds pick up through this evening with gusts of 40 mph possible. Gusts as high as 50 mph will be possible near Lake Erie. Temperatures will steadily rise late into the night, reaching to near 60 degrees in some spots.
Rain will spread from northwest to southeast across the state through the night as a potent cold front moves through. The rain will exit Monday morning. Gusty winds will continue Monday, ushering in colder air. Highs near 50 degrees will occur before daybreak, with temperatures quickly falling into the 30s through the afternoon.
