Much of southwest, central and northeastern Ohio got walloped by a quick-hitting snowstorm Sunday. Snowfall amounts ranged from 2 inches to as much as 7 inches.
The snow will taper off through the evening and into tonight. However, a few flurries or snow showers may pop back up briefly early Monday.
With temperatures near or just below freezing tonight, some area roads that had been wet could see some refreezing. Conditions should improve quickly Monday as temperatures rise.
Relatively quiet weather is expected late Monday through Tuesday before another winter storm aims at the Ohio Valley midweek.
