Dangerous heat breaks by this weekend as highs fall out of the 90s back into the 70s and 80s.

What You Need To Know

  • Temperatures improve by this weekend to seasonal conditions especially Sunday
  • Morning showers and a few storms early Saturday
  • A sunny and cooler Sunday forecast

Morning showers and storms possible early Friday as a complex moves out by mid to late morning. The rest of the day is mainly dry as temperatures push back into the upper 80s to lower 90s. It’s our last hot and humid day before temperatures break this weekend.

Friday night football forecast is dry with muggy temperatures.

Saturday is mild for northern Ohio, but still pretty warm in southern parts as temperatures push the upper 80s. We will have some showers and a few storms possible early in the day Saturday. Otherwise, low chances the rest of the weekend.

Sunday will be cooler still, with highs for many in the 70s to right around 80. That’s with plentiful sunshine in the forecast, too.

Similar conditions are forecast early next week, with highs still slightly below normal heading into the work week.
