OHIO — Cedar Point will be closing for some days in June due to a lack of workers.
Park officials wrote on Facebook it has increased wages to $20 an hour for seasonal and part-time positions as well as offered a $500 seasonal sign-on bonus, but can’t find enough employees.
“While we’ve ramped up these recruiting efforts, we continue to adjust our operating calendar based on the availability of seasonal labor,” the park said.
The current calendar shows Cedar Point and the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays until June 29.
Officials said those who booked overnight stays or made reservations for a ticket or a season pass will be contacted directly.
The park reopened for its 151st season on May 14. Positions can be found here.
