Highs climb well into the 90s today, fueling strong to severe storms late today.
As afternoon temperatures soar well into the 90s, Heat Advisories are in place through 8 p.m. across Ohio. Afternoon heat indices will reach 100, so take care to stay cool!
Once we head into the late afternoon/early evening, we’ll see a line of strong to potentially severe thunderstorms roll across NW Ohio, moving Southeast into central Ohio closer to 8-9 p.m., then exiting around midnight. Most of Ohio is under a Slight Risk from the Storm Prediction Center and our primary threat will be damaging straight-line winds.
While we’re still hot tomorrow, once we get through this afternoon the worst is over. 80s come back to the picture by mid-week.
