After a gorgeous stretch of weather last week, get ready for a period of showers, storms and unsettled weather this coming work week.

What You Need To Know

  • Clouds, showers and a few thunderstorms are likely all week
  • Severe weather chances are very limited
  • Temperatures will remain in the 70s statewide all week long

The change occurred late Saturday as a front moved closer to Ohio, bringing with it south winds and mild temperatures to balance out the clouds and approaching rain. Scattered showers and a few (mainly non-severe) storms will continue Sunday night into Monday.

After the initial first front moves through Monday evening, Tuesday, while not 100% dry, could provide us with a bit of a break in the widespread showers.

By the middle of the week, we’ll see Ohio and much of the eastern third of the country dip into a pattern of mild temperatures and afternoon and evening showers and storms. This truly will feel more like a late spring or summer pattern rather than a fall one.

Due to the lack of shear and instability, we’re not expecting much in the way of severe weather.

Temperatures are set to remain in the 70s throughout the week and into next weekend.
