After days of lingering showers and storms, this week will end up beautiful, bright and mostly sunny.

What You Need To Know

  • A few widely scattered showers Monday and Tuesday
  • High temperatures will be back into the 70s
  • Expect plenty of sunshine and lower humidity

While Monday will bring us a slight chance of a few showers behind a lingering front, it’s the air from the north behind it that will settle in and help make us feel much more comfortable this week.

Highs will still be in the 80s Monday, with partly cloudy skies.

While we cannot rule out a scattered shower or rumble Tuesday, winds from the north at 10-20 mph will help usher in a much quieter few days, with lower humidity. That northerly wind helps keep humid air from the Gulf of Mexico out of the way, so expect the swampy, sultry air of last week and this weekend to be long gone.

Highs will dip into the 70s for most areas this week, with lows in the 50s.

Humidity levels and temperatures will start to creep up as we head toward Friday and next weekend, with a chance of showers and storms returning by Friday night into Saturday.
