We’ll be ending June and ringing in July with showers, storms and very warm weather all across Ohio.
The stage was set this weekend with a hazy, hot and humid airmass taking control of Ohio’s weather. As we make our way into the final days of June, expect more of the same; highs in the 80s to near 90, high humidity and a chance of storms.
Starting Monday, we’ll settle into a “reset and recharge” mode when it comes to afternoon and evening showers and storms. An unstable airmass across the state gives us that chance of rain, with a few downpours and at least a slight chance of strong to severe storms.
Finally, by the end of the week, a frontal boundary drops south, giving us some much-needed relief, with temperatures heading into the 70s with rain starting to taper off north and west.
