An Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Cincinnati metro area through midnight tonight. The level of ozone will be unhealthy for those who have respiratory issues and asthma.

To help reduce the level of ozone, avoid idling your vehicle for extended periods of time, using gas powered mowers and refueling your car before 8 p.m., if possible.

Despite the sunshine, it’s best to stay indoors as much as possible during an Air Quality Alert day.

Rest of Ohio

It’ll be a tad warmer for Thursday as temperatures start out in the lower 60s, and are expected to climb into the lower to mid-80s later this afternoon. There’s also a little more humidity in the air.

And like yesterday, some showers and a possible storm may develop later this afternoon through the evening hours in southern and southeastern Ohio.

The rest of us are fairly sunny and dry again through your Thursday.

Any storms/showers that develop today fade as the sunsets. Overnight clouds increase with temperatures not as cool. Lows drop into the mid-60s.
