We’re in for another hot and humid day, with afternoon highs in the upper 80s to near 90 and heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. The combination of heat and humidity once again allows for afternoon and evening showers and storms.
Shower chances improve again tomorrow, especially for central and southern Ohio as a cold front moves through, finally bringing an end to the intense heat and humidity.
The remnants of Ida will move in late Tuesday/early Wednesday, bringing the threat of downpours and flooding, particularly to southern Ohio.
By Thursday, we’re clear and cool, with many of our highs in the 70s and low 80s.
