We’re setting up for a slightly warmer day today, with more clouds rolling into the state as we wrap up the workweek. After unseasonably cool air to kick off the month of August, we’re heading into the first full weekend with seasonably warm and humid air returning.
We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds on Friday with highs back in the mid-to-upper 80s. Expect mostly cloudy skies by this evening and warm temperatures. If you have any outdoor plans Friday, conditions remain mainly dry.
Lows stay muggy, dropping down into the upper 60s tonight.
There’s still a healthy amount of clouds to start Saturday, with a few showers possible before lunchtime. More scattered showers and storms develop during the afternoon in northern Ohio, and pop-up storms are possible in mid and southern parts of the state Saturday afternoon and evening.
