CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland’s outdoor pools might be closed for the summer, but that is not stopping the heat from overtaking the city.

As the city encounters some of its hottest temperatures of the year so far, the city announced that it is extending the hours of its indoor pools and spray parks.

According to the city, spray parks will be open throughout the city through Aug. 22 unless temperatures drop below 80 degrees. The first full day of school for Cleveland Metropolitan School District students is Aug. 23.

The city also said its indoor pools will be open at the following times:

  • 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday
  • Closed Sunday

The city has a full list of pool and spray park locations on its website.
