  • Neil Brofman is a self-proclaimed diehard Clevalnd Browns fan and said the loss last week against the Jets is “the most disappointing loss I’ve seen as a Browns fan.”

“Cleveland fans is crazy, so we gotta make sure the stands stay alive up there,” said the owner of Sauce the City Cleveland, Chef Vick.

Vick also sells his award-winning chicken sandwiches inside First Energy stadium. “The stadiums they do what we do in a week in a couple hours, ya know what I mean? So ya know, the stadiums are definitely high volume,” said Vick.

Vick said it’s that kind of volume that continues to keep his business strong. Vick said he also knows that Browns fans will always stand behind the team.

“I know the Browns fans are going to stick in there, good or bad, hopefully good. We just [gonna] fight it, though. We just not going to put our guards down too early next time,” said Vick.

Across town is Highland Heights resident and die-hard Browns fan Neil Brofman.

“This is a seat from the old municipal stadium and there’s a couple things signed by Bernie,” said Brofman. He has what he called a Bernie Kosar shrine.

Brofman said he’s a current season ticket holder and has been attending Browns games since he was 10 years old. He became a member of the Browns 40 Club in the 1990s, a social group he said tailgates before games and always sticks behind the team, no matter what.

“If it’s 40 to nothing and there’s a minute to go, we’re there, doesn’t change,” said Brofman.

He said he’s never seen a loss quite like the one against the Jets.

“It’s the most disappointing loss I’ve seen as a Browns fan,” he said.
