CLEVELAND — For some, pinball is just a game, but for a group of artists in Cleveland, it became a source of inspiration.

Now, David Spasic and his partners, Nathan and Ben, are sharing their love for both art and pinball machines with people of all ages at Superelectric Pinball Parlor.

“My partners and I all went to school at Bowling Green together, we were all in art school,” said Spasic. “We started collecting games and then from there sort of went to fixing them and selling them and then it turned into this.”

Located on Cleveland’s Gordon Square, the arcade features more than a dozen machines, a full bar, specialty sodas and snacks for guests to enjoy.

However, what some may appreciate most is the artistic experience.

“We kind of look at this space as an art space first and foremost that just happens to be an arcade,” said Spasic. “So if you look around the whole environment there’s a lot of paintings, and murals and sculptures and other elements that we incorporate. We try to put our creativity into all of it.”

Superelectric welcomes players of all ages. League nights have made a comeback after taking a hiatus due to the pandemic.
