OHIO — All 17 Regal Theatres in Ohio will reopen this month after being shuttered for much of the COVID-19 pandemic, including four which will reopen this week.
The first four movie theaters to reopen will be two Cleveland-area locations, one in the Dayton area and another in the Cincinnati area. Five additional locations will reopen May 14, and the remaining 10 will resume operations May 21.
With the exception of two Oregon locations, all Regal Theatres across the U.S. will resume operations by May 21.
Regal will require masks to be worn at all times except when actively eating and drinking. The company said masks will be provided to customers who arrive without one. Regal said capacities will be reduced as theaters will be blocking off seats between groups.
