Today, it’s been about the dangerous heat and humidity. Heat advisories in western to southern Ohio continue until sundown tonight with heat index values up to 102 degrees.
For some cities today marks the hottest day so far this year, but tomorrow will be even hotter for areas that remain dry. There’s a chance for scattered storms through Wednesday.
Temperatures quickly warm Wednesday morning and by 9am most of us are in the lower 80s with fairly dry conditions. However, storms develop in northern Ohio by midday.
Feels like temperatures once again could push 100 during the afternoon and evening as the sweltering conditions continue midweek.
Late day pop up storms fire up as temperatures climb into the lower to mid 90s during the afternoon. Scattered storms in northern Ohio dive to the south late Wednesday evening/overnight with potentially heavy rain and gusty winds.
