CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Public Library and Cleveland Food Bank are partnering to help feed Cleveland-area families this summer.

The organizations announced Tuesday that starting this week, meals for children ages 18 and under will be offered for free at all Cleveland Public Library locations from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The program is open to all children regardless of income.

The organizations announced that a two-day supply of meals will be provided at select locations. Some libraries will also provide “Family Food Boxes” for children and their families, which will include 20-30 pounds of nonperishable food, including pasta, rice and canned goods.

Additional details are available through Cleveland Public Library branches.

The library system is currently operating 25 branch locations. Three branch locations — Jefferson, West Park and Woodland — are temporarily closed.
