IRONTON, Ohio — Two student athletes from Ironton High School were recognized as Week 4 Scholar Athletes of the Week.
Emily Campbell is a volleyball player and cheerleader for the Fighting Tigers. Campbell is involved in numerous school and community activities, including: varsity cheerleader UCA All-American and UCA Spirit Award winner, Hospice 5K volunteer, Pep Club leader, Impact Club, Key Club, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student of the Quarter nominee, Ibelieve leadership, Gold Tiger Award and Open Door School Prom Volunteer and basketball game volunteer.
Blake Murell plays football for Ironton. Along with being a football player for four years, he is involved in Student Body Vice President, National Honor Society, Math Honorary, Spanish Club and Math Club.
