CLEVELAND — Ohio’s casinos set a state record for revenue for another month as total revenue at Ohio’s four casinos top $92.5 million in April, according to state data.

While casinos in Columbus and Toledo saw a decline in revenue from March to April, Jack Cleveland Casino had an 8% jump in revenue from March to April. The casino raked in more than $24 million in revenue, up from $22.2 million in March. The casino had been averaging between $15 million and $20 million in revenues.

April was the busiest month for a Cleveland casino since March 2013.

With profits near an all-time high for the casino, it will be hosting a job fair on Tuesday, May 18 from noon to 7 p.m. In an effort to entice new hires, Jack Cleveland is offering up to a $1,000 bonus.

Jack Cleveland said it’s welcoming walk-in interviewees and will make same-day offers to applicants.

With Ohio’s COVID-19 restrictions ending on June 2, the casino will be allowed to operate at full capacity for the first time since March 2020.
