After highs in the 70s and 80s, Tuesday was an unseasonably warm and relatively dry day across Ohio. A more unsettled weather pattern will begin to emerge for the second half of the week, with chances for showers and even some thunderstorms.

What You Need To Know

  • More unseasonably warm weather is expected Wednesday
  • Rain and a few thunderstorms likely for Thursday
  • Seasonable weather returns to Ohio late in the weekend

Temperatures Wednesday morning will start out mainly in the 50s, with partly cloudy skies and eventual afternoon highs reaching the 70s and 80s once again. Toward the end of the day, a few scattered showers and even a pop-up storm cannot be ruled out.

The mild temperatures will continue into Wednesday evening, with a better chance for a few showers state wide.

A more prominent storm system moves into Ohio by Thursday, making it the rainiest day of the week. Highs will stay in the 70s, with cloudy skies and scattered downpours. A few thunderstorms are possible, although severe weather is not likely. We’ll of course be watching.

Unsettled weather continues into the weekend with mild temperatures and a chance for at least a few scattered showers.

More seasonable and drier weather moves in just in time for the start of next week.
