CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland said that it will resume enforcing parking violations July 6 after a 16-month reprieve from issuing citations during the pandemic.

Starting July 24, the city began circulating warning flyers as a reminder that enforcement will soon resume.

Meanwhile, Cleveland’s Willard Park Garage has returned to normal operating hours — 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, the city announced.

The announcements come as the city ended its state of emergency order last month. As part of the order, Mayor Frank Jackson ordered city employees to return to the office by June 14.

Although most city operations are returning to normal, Cleveland City Council will continue holding virtual meetings.
