Two waves of showers and storms through the day and night Friday. Prepare for severe weather likely with threats of damaging winds (gusts up to 60-70 mph), torrential rainfall especially in southern Ohio, and large hail.
We also can’t rule out tornado threat as well but overall this will be a straight line damaging wind event.
First wave of storms moves through by lunchtime Friday, mainly in northern Ohio.
Second wave will be more severe/stronger developing Friday afternoon and continues to become a cluster of storms Friday evening from northern and sinking into southern Ohio overnight.
