A cold front is slowly working its way through Ohio, but will not clear the state before remnants of Ida work their way in Tuesday into Wednesday.

A Flash Flood Watch goes into effect for southern Ohio at noon today. 1-3″ of rain could fall in some areas where storms repeatedly move through this afternoon.

The wet weather doesn’t end this evening. With Ida’s remnants still forecast to impact Ohio, an additional 2-4+ inches in southern Ohio could fall, bringing another round of potential flash flooding. Much lower amounts will fall to the north, although at least isolated showers are still possible.

Between the rain, clouds, and front temperatures remain much cooler through the week, with highs in the 70s to low 80s after today, which remains a bit warmer for our southern areas.
