CLEVELAND, Ohio — Spectrum News’ Scholar Athletes this week from St. Ignatius High School are Aiden Bubbard and Emmett Hanna.
“It’s been awesome. It’s a historic program, traditions great, 11 State Championships—can’t ask for more as a student coming here. The coaches are great. Players are great. It’s just … the all around culture is unbelievable,” said Hubbard
Senior safety Emmett Hanna also plays basketball, and says his favorite subject in school is history. He’s considering Cornell or Wake Forest for college where he hopes to continue playing the sport he loves.
“You got to trust every… all 10 guys on the field and yourself,” said Hanna. “I made my best friends playing football. Ever since my freshman year, it’s nothing like it. All my best friends play, i laugh and joke with them all practice. It’s the best.”
Hanna also plans on studying business in college.
