Wave of showers and a few storms exits early this morning. But we won’t stay dry long as another round of rain and a few storms develop this afternoon along a warm front. Areas in western and southern Ohio look for scattered showers, and a possible storm today with highs in the 60s. While in northeastern Ohio stays mainly dry during the day with some late day clearing but temperatures are slightly cooler in the 50s.
As the warm front lifts north this evening showers and isolated storms track north overnight into northern Ohio. A few storms could become strong to severe with strong winds and hail as main threats. A marginal risk for areas along I-70 and south. Heavy rain also possible overnight.
For Saturday scattered showers and storms are likely as temperatures warm into the 60s and 70s! As the cold front arrives late Saturday into Saturday night severe storms are possible. Storms could produce strong damaging winds and large hail with an isolated tornado possible. Stay weather aware Saturday as western and central Ohio are under a slight risk.
Rain and storms sweep across the state Saturday night into Sunday. Showers continue into early Sunday especially in eastern Ohio until cold front exits. Winds become breezy Sunday afternoon as temperatures cool off.
Monday looks mainly dry with seasonal highs.
Friday -Rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Stronger storms possible late in the day with heavy downpours possible. Highs in the 50s and 60s.
Saturday -Scattered showers and storms likely. Severe storms possible that could produce gusty winds and large hail with an isolated tornado. Stay weather aware Saturday – Saturday night. Highs are warm in the 60s and 70s!
