CINCINNATI, Ohio ― Spectrum News 1 brings you the seventh in our Voices for Change series, where activists, leaders, and community members share what has brought them to action and how addressing racial discrimination will create a better world for everyone.

“My name is Jerome McCorry. I’m a lot of things. But what people see when they look at me first is the color of my skin. The color of my skin does not make me a criminal. The color of my skin does not make me unloveable.”

Bishop Jerome McCorry, a founder of The National Congress on Faith and Social Justice, advocates on behalf of families facing discrimination. Bishop McCorry wants to increase the educational requirements of police officers, introducing them to people outside their own community.
