We’re on track for the same warm weather on Wednesday as we had on Tuesday.

What You Need To Know

  • Highs flirt with 80 degrees Wednesday
  • Rain and a few thunderstorms are likely for Thursday
  • Seasonable weather returns to Ohio late in the weekend

It’ll be another warm, June-like day today with temperatures that are just as warm as Tuesday.

Expect mild temperatures this morning in the 60s, warming quickly to 70s by lunchtime with sun and clouds. Most of the day is dry with a breezy south wind that will help push us back near 80 once again today.

There’s a chance of showers/storms in southwestern Ohio between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Chances are isolated and once we lose the daytime heating, most storms fizzle.

A slight chance of an isolated storm continues overnight with mild temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain chances increase as the cold front approaches on Thursday.

Morning showers/storms develop in western through central Ohio, then activity becomes more widespread after lunch as temperatures warm. Keep the umbrella close with afternoon scattered showers and storms possible statewide.

Some storms could produce downpours with gusty winds. The risk of severe weather is low, but we can’t rule out some stronger storms.

Thursday evening and into Thursday night showers and storms press into northern and eastern Ohio as the front passes early Friday. Some showers/storms linger Friday morning, and some wrap-around showers are possible through the day in northern Ohio.

First Taste of 80s!

When we say highs this week are more like summer, we’re not kidding!

Tuesday was our warmest day yet. Cities through Ohio reached 80+ degrees yesterday for the first time this year!
